On our cruise to Block Island, we anchored in a spot for the night known as DUTCH ISLAND, located in Jamestown, Rhode Island. lots of fun was had by all. The water was clean and everyone did take a swim. It was a very enjoyable weekend trip to BLOCK ISLAND located in Rhode Island. It is a nice weekend get away, and many tourists enjoy the quaint island. The following pictures is the fleet on its' way. The picture on the right is the entrance into BLOCK ISLAND, all the boats have to go in a single line. This picture is a shot I took in the first evening anchored at BLOCK ISLAND. You couldn't ask for nicer evening, and the sunset was beautiful. The picture on the left is the Block Island Coast Guard Station. The one on the right is the fog we had to navigate through when we left to head home. If you look close enough, you can see the stern of DawnMaries' boat that kept close for us to follow. All made it safely home. This picture was taken in Jamestown, Rhode Island, while heading back home from our Block Island cruise. The one on the left is that of The Newport Yacht Club. Some of our other cruises took us to PRUDENCE ISLAND located in Rhode Island. This picture is one of the Prudence Island Ferry. The next two pictures also were taken at Prudence Island. What a beautiful sunset we had that evening. This is a picture of POINT JUDITH, located also in Rhode Island. This lighthouse is a well known one and a favorite for many artists. Another favorite site for many is known as HOG ISLAND, located in Crystal, Rhode Island. Here are pictures of a place known as GOAT ISLAND, located in Rhode Island. The picture on the left shows the Double Tree Hotel and the picture on the right is the Goat Island Marina. This is another picture taken in Goat Island. Another well visited area is Wickford, Rhode Island. The picture on the left is the WICKFORD YACHT CLUB.
