At my home I have a circular driveway with a grass area in the middle. I mentioned to Vinnie that I was planning on purchasing a lighthouse to place in that grass area.
That is when I learned of his secret talent. It seems that his hobby is building lighthouses .. Not just any little lighthouse!!! I couldn't picture what he was describing to me. So, after the clubs meeting, I took a ride over to see for myself. What a delightful surprise ..
These lighthouses he builds are 4' .. 5' .. 6' .. tall and are "replicas" of the original lighthouses. He has built them upon requests from as far as Florida. You can't imagine the quaility and details that goes into each of them, resembling the specific lighthouse.
I have asked him if he would mind gathering together some photographs to hang up for visitors entering this room to enjoy, along with a little more detail of how long it takes him to build them as well as the costs of them. Although they were a little more esquisite than what I had in mind, they certainly would present a conversational item and an elegant display on anyones lawn.
