This is Me ~ Misssit ~ taken in September 2004 (click on picture) Although I don't have many pictures on line, the ones I do were in different albums located in Photopoint. So that I don't forget where they are, I decided to place them in their own room. If you visit any of the albums, photopoint does not bring you back to this room. Just hit your back key. ALBUMS The Taunton Yacht Club in Dighton, Massachusetts, always have a tremendous turnout for any party they hold and the St. Paddys Day party was no exception. There was plenty of great food, lots of drinks and a fun time was had by all!! St. Paddys Day Party 1st Album St. Paddys Day Party 2nd Album My Grandchidren are very special and I treasure the following Albums. I do give my daughter praise for keeping the children actively involved with their interests and participating where ever she can. (well ~ a Grandmother does get to brag once in a while!) **************************************************** My Grandson has played baseball now for 6 years. His team always does well and for a number of years they made first place in their leaque. My Grandaughter also join in playing baseball as soon as she became of age. Once I set up my scanner, I hope to place more photos here. Baseball Album ************ This was Justynes' first year being a cheerleader at age 6. Kevin (10yrs) did try football for one year, but sitting on a bench most of the time made him unfortunately loose interest in football. Only a couple of pictures are in this album. Cheerleading/Football 1998 ************ Most of the pictures in this Album consist of my Grandaughter at the age of 7 when she was crowned Home Coming Princess of her Cheerleading Squad. She got to lead the parade of all the cheerleaders. She also was chosen to be one of the Squads Captain for the season. Cheerleading 1999 Album (Home Coming Princess) ************ As if Stacie wasn't busy enough, she also took on being the Head Coach for the Woonsocket Flag Cheerleading Squad. These girls ages were 6yrs & 7yrs and so very "active". I have no idea as to where she got her patience from. Cheerleading Flag Squad 2000 ************ This year (2000) Justyne was among those chosen to advance to the Woonsocket Redskins C Team. Their Coach works hard with these girls all season long preparing them for the State Competition. For the past two years her Squad earned the State PeeWee Cheerleading Champion Title. This was the first time in the state history that one city had won this pretigeous title for two consecqutive years. I was amazed as to the time spent for practice and you certainly have to admire and appreciate all the Coaches for their teaching abilties to these young girls. Cheerleading 2000 (A) Album ************ These Squads put in a lot of time and hard work for the up coming State Competition Day! They presented a preview night for all the parents to enjoy. For this evening, the girls were not required to be in uniform. Cheerleading 2000 B Album (State Competition Practice Night) ************ The Big Day Came when all Squads throughout Rhode Island met at Bryant College. The judges sure had their hands full. It was exciting when the Woonsocket Redskins PeeWee (C) Squad was chosen for the First Runner Up Title. All that hard work paid off! We weren't allowed to take photo at the Competition, but more Pictures will be placed here when the video which was ordered is received. It certainly was a learning experience ~ some good and some bad. Unfortunately honesty and trusting are not any of his better qualities and Life is too short to grow old with a keyboard pretending. Only a few of the pictures made it to the photo album. I do wish him the best in all his endeavors. What Memories Are Made Of A group gathering from the Parenting-Grandparents Room took advantage of a Spring Fling at SleepyTown (link to their web site) located in Wells, Maine. What a place to go for get-aways. There were so many nearby sites to visit ~ including The famous Nubble Lighthouse. The food was excellent at the restraraunt located on the premisis. If you plan on being in the area, check into their Flings! You'll be surprised. My intentions were to turn it into a mail order business, but found having my company name printed on my catalogs and doing bulk mailings was too much of an expense. Instead I did flea markets every weekend for two years which did very well. I found that setting up and tearing down, packing each item became too much of a hassle. Recently, I placed some gift items in the Ebay Auction. This is why pictures of the items were placed in a photo album in order to have access to place pictures in the auction. Now that I have more time on my hands, I intend to concentrate in this direction.
